Combine shops by shopping model and geography. These source-reviewed options are not a best-to-worst ranking, a driven itinerary or a promise about stock or resale profit.
Friendly has a short morning schedule; Fresh Start usually opens Tuesday-Friday. Once Upon A Child and DAV sit on different East/West sections of Kimberly Road. Do not substitute the Fresh Start donation center for its retail store. Cinderella's Cellar on West 35th Street opens Tuesday and Thursday 9am-3pm and Saturday 9am-noon.
Plato's Closet and Style Encore are separate suites at one address. They buy selected used stock outright rather than using consignment contracts.
Moline's Resale Consignment Shop adds local selected resale to the existing Goodwill branches. Skeleton Key in downtown Rock Island is an art-and-antiques stop with different opening days. Arsenal Attic is inside Building 60 on the military installation: confirm an approved visitor pass and entry documents before adding it to an outing.
2nd Chance Furniture adds the first East Moline stop. Rescued is now in Silvis, Suite 101. The owner's recent 2nd Chance hours reply is newer than the profile's two-year-old schedule.
Bettendorf Goodwill is a core Quad Cities retail stop. Geneseo is farther east and remains a separate extension; it is not treated as a quick downtown stop.

Friendly Thrift Center is upstairs in The Center Building on Brady Street. Fresh Start is public retail at 522 Fillmore; its donation center and administrative office are separate addresses.
Wednesday-Friday 9am-noon. Friendly is closed Tuesday; Fresh Start's Saturday opening is only the second Saturday of each month.
Open morning thrift shortlistCompare teen/young-adult resale at Plato's Closet with adult resale at Style Encore. Both use 5252 Elmore Avenue, but Plato's is Suite A and Style Encore is Suite F; they are separate shops in one building.

Open Elmore resale shortlistOnce Upon A Child is on the east side of Kimberly Road at 2112 Kimberly, Suite 110B. DAV is at 1112 West Kimberly. The similarly named road segments are not interchangeable; this is a driving pair.

Open East Moline and Silvis shortlistStuff Etc on Davenport's Brady Street and The Resale Consignment Shop in Moline offer two selected-resale formats across the river. Use Moline's current 4703 16th Street, Suite F address rather than the older 37th Street address.

Open cross-river consignment shortlistHabitat ReStore in Davenport focuses on home-improvement goods; Moline's local consignment shop adds furniture and decor. Confirm dimensions, loading help, item condition and transport before buying bulky pieces.

Open vintage and antiques shortlistDavenport, Moline and Rock Island Goodwills are separate retail branches, not by-the-pound bins. Start on whichever side fits your day and remove stops as needed; this three-stop outing needs more travel time than a neighborhood pair.

Open nonprofit retail shortlistCompare volunteer-run Cinderella's Cellar on West 35th Street with Stuff Etc on North Brady. These are different resale formats; this is a driving pair, not two stops in one building.
Tue and Thu 10am-3pm; Sat 10am-noon. Start with Cinderella's Cellar because it closes earlier.
Open Davenport thrift and consignment shortlistArsenal Attic is a restricted-access shopping stop inside Building 60, with a basement entrance near Gillespie Street and North Avenue. First-time visitors must obtain Army visitor approval at the Moline Gate Welcome Center before heading to the shop. Pair with Skeleton Key only if you meet entry requirements; otherwise remove the Arsenal stop. Ordinary map directions do not grant installation access.
Thursday noon-2pm; third Saturday of the month 10am-2pm. Only after visitor access is approved. Visitor processing, travel and browsing require additional time.
Open Arsenal and Rock Island shortlistShared shopping windows do not include driving, bridge crossings, parking or browsing. Check live directions and shop notices before leaving.

Morning thrift, donation intake, voucher service and consigning hours can differ. Friendly is upstairs; step-free access and loading assistance are not confirmed.
Use current addresses and suites. Once Upon A Child is on East Kimberly; DAV is on West Kimberly. Style Encore's operator locator pin was misplaced, so its verified street-address match is used.
Keep the directory free to use and check an item's condition and full costs with the profit calculator. Local ownership, a nonprofit mission and neighborhood income do not establish resale margins.
Arsenal Attic is inside a military installation. Read the Army visitor requirements before leaving; public shop hours do not waive pass, background-check, identification or vehicle-document requirements. The Welcome Center at 23 Prospect Drive, Moline is not the thrift shop. Its posted processing hours are daily 7am-3pm; access is subject to Army approval.
Friendly Thrift Center, Fresh Start, Rescued, 2nd Chance Furniture, The Resale Consignment Shop, Abernathy's and Skeleton Key are local operators in this set. Goodwill and DAV have nonprofit network affiliations. The Winmark resale shops are individually owned franchises; local ownership does not remove their network affiliation.

2nd Chance Furniture is at 719 15th Avenue. On October 17, 2026, the owner answered a weekly-hours question with Wed-Fri 11am-6pm and Sat 11am-2pm; its older profile hours differ. The source reply is linked below.
Friendly and Fresh Start overlap Wednesday-Friday 9am-noon. Friendly is closed Tuesday, and Fresh Start's monthly second-Saturday event is not a weekly Saturday opening.
No. Plato's Closet is 5252 Elmore Avenue, Suite A. Style Encore is Suite F. They serve different resale categories and have separate hours and buying policies.
The shop's current owner post lists Tuesday and Thursday 9am-3pm and Saturday 9am-noon at 230 West 35th Street. It is staffed by Catholic Service Board volunteers and supports the Kahl Home.
The operator welcomes public shoppers, but the shop is inside Rock Island Arsenal. First-time visitors must process at the Moline Gate Visitor Welcome Center and meet the Army's current entry requirements. Do that before driving to Building 60. Shopping is Tuesday/Thursday 10am-2pm and the third Saturday of the month 10am-2pm, subject to shop notices and installation access.
