Fort Atkinson offers three general-thrift comparisons and furniture consignment; Jefferson and downtown Watertown add selected resale and antiques. Watertown spans Jefferson and Dodge counties, so this is a regional shopping guide rather than a county-boundary inventory.
These suggested trips are not active because one or more stops need confirmed shopping hours or visit access. Their shop profiles remain available in the local directory; confirm each stop before making your own trip.
Rainbow, St. Vincent de Paul and Goodwill are separate retail addresses. Rainbow carries clothing, housewares, media and furniture; Feather Your Nest adds selected consignment furnishings but has unconfirmed weekly hours. St. Vincent's building-material division keeps a different schedule from its main store.
Twice is Nice offers clothing, furniture, books and household goods. Vintage on Main adds antiques, home decor, vintage items and new boutique merchandise. Its in-store candle tenant publishes a schedule, but confirm that it applies to the whole shop before traveling.
The Lake Mills St. Vincent de Paul shop is at 720 East Lake Street. Pair it with Fort Atkinson only if the extra drive fits your day. Thursday and Friday retail closing is later than Monday-Wednesday; Saturday closes at 4pm and Sunday is closed.
Blue Butterfly and The Closet Hanger offer different resale formats on East Main Street. Clara's combines antiques and music at 100 East Main; Watertown Antiques & Vintage is a separate South Water Street stop. Only Blue Butterfly has a confirmed current weekly schedule in this group. Check the others before making a special trip.

Compare Rainbow Thrift Shoppe with Goodwill. St. Vincent de Paul remains a separate lead while access following the announced remodel closure is unconfirmed.
Monday-Friday 10am-4pm is a conservative shared window in the recorded schedules. On Saturday, visit Rainbow before its 1pm closing. Shopping hours differ from donation intake.
Open Fort Atkinson shortlistStart with Lake Mills St. Vincent de Paul, compare Rainbow in Fort Atkinson and keep Goodwill as the later stop. This crosses between towns; choose the order that fits your starting point.
Monday-Wednesday: 10am-5pm shared retail window; Thursday-Friday: 10am-6pm. Saturday: Rainbow closes at 1pm, so move it earlier. Lake Mills is closed Sunday and major holidays.
Open Lake Mills and Fort Atkinson shortlistKeep shopping hours separate from donation hours. Rainbow accepts donations until 30 minutes before retail closes; furniture needs pre-approval. Twice is Nice donations stop at 3:30pm and its rear door is separate from the shop entrance.
Blue Butterfly Watertown does not take donations on Wednesday even though retail shopping is open. Furniture-consignment acceptance and appointments at Feather Your Nest were not confirmed; call before loading a vehicle.
St. Vincent Fort Atkinson announced an October 10, 2026 closure for remodeling. Its posted regular schedule is not a guarantee that all departments are available during the work.
AbleLight Watertown is not included while its map point remains unresolved. The Vintage Flip in Lake Mills has conflicting closure information and is not treated as an available replacement. Assistance-only offices are not sourcing stops.

The Fort Atkinson and Lake Mills/Fort Atkinson lists have posted regular weekday overlaps, subject to the Fort Atkinson remodeling notice. Jefferson and downtown Watertown are explicitly call-first because at least one shop lacks independently confirmed whole-store hours.
No. Goodwill, St. Vincent, Rainbow, Twice is Nice and Blue Butterfly use thrift models. Feather Your Nest is furniture consignment, The Closet Hanger is apparel resale, and the antique/vintage shops mix selected and dealer inventory.
Choose one shortlist first. These towns require separate drives, and inspecting goods takes time. Add another cluster only if the opening hours, transport space and listing workload fit your plan.
