A donated-goods thrift shop, a curated vintage shop and a consignment business have different intake models. This guide gives you a separate starting pair for each comparison. Research the item in front of you and its current sold market; a shop’s category does not tell you whether a particular purchase will work for your business.
Nonprofit thrift with distinct schedules
Upscale Resale, operated by Up To Good, is on West Broadway. The Love Seat is on Rangeline Street and welcomes public shoppers alongside its separate assistance furniture-bank program. City Boutique adds another nonprofit clothing and household-goods option on North Garth, with only a monthly Saturday opening.
Downtown vintage and the Business Loop
Maude Vintage is on North Tenth Street; Deco to Retro is on Business Loop 70 East. These are separate stops. Maude’s owner pages disagree on hours, and the business-district profile says Deco opens by chance or call. Confirm both before making vintage the trip’s anchor.
Consignment and cash-only clothing thrift
Divine Consign focuses on preowned women’s clothing and accessories at the Parkade address on Business Loop 70 West. The Wardrobe on Park Avenue is a cash-only nonprofit thrift option. Tuesday Wardrobe shopping is referral-only assistance, not ordinary public sourcing.
These are starting points, not timed or optimized routes. Check each shop’s current hours, then change the order or remove stops. Opening a shortlist does not replace your saved trip.

Start with Upscale Resale, then compare The Love Seat. Their source-reported offerings include clothing and household or furniture categories, but neither source guarantees today’s stock. Keep bulky finds separate from a clothing-only buying plan.

- The Love Seat Resale Store - Columbia, MO2600 Rangeline St, Columbia, MO 65202
Wednesday–Friday has an overlap of 10am–4pm at Upscale and 9am–5pm at Love Seat. Upscale closes at 1pm Saturday, so it may need to come first. Check exceptions; shopping hours are not donation hours.

Compare The Wardrobe’s donated-clothing thrift model with Divine Consign’s women’s consignment model. Bring cash for The Wardrobe. Read Divine’s current intake instructions separately if you plan to consign; shopping does not guarantee item acceptance.

- Divine Consign - Columbia, MO601 Business Loop 70 W Suite 207, Columbia, MO 65203
Wednesday 11am–2pm, Friday 1–4pm and Saturday 10am–noon are source-supported overlaps. Wardrobe closes at noon Saturday; Divine opens at 10am. Tuesday Wardrobe access is referral-only, so this public-shopping pair does not work that day.

Before you buy or bring items in
Upscale Resale takes donations Wednesday–Saturday 10am–1pm at its west door, shorter than shopping hours on weekdays. It lists exclusions including children’s clothing and toys, appliances and several electronics categories. Review the full list before bringing a load.
The Love Seat accepts donations until 4pm while shopping continues until 5pm. Its public resale store and assistance furniture bank are separate services. Do not treat eligibility-based assistance as a reseller sourcing offer.
The Wardrobe identifies public-shopping days and cash-only payment. City Boutique lists the second Saturday of the month, not every Saturday. Read the exact day rule before adding either.
Divine Consign’s owner page lists ZIP 65203; its named map listing uses 65201 for the same building and suite. The profile keeps the owner ZIP and supplies the matched business pin. Midway Antique Mall is a separate western-area extension behind the travel center; use its named-store pin rather than treating the travel plaza as the shop.
Set a buying limit before the trip. Inspect condition, construction, missing parts and alterations; compare recent sold items in comparable condition; then include fees, shipping, preparation and your time. Shop type and a low sticker price do not establish profit.
Use the men’s jeans research and video, shirt label checklist and video, sourcing checklist and profit calculator. Historical examples are research prompts, not current valuations.
The shortlists do not calculate travel time or optimize your route. Confirm current openings, then change the order or remove a stop. Approximate pins identify recorded business locations, not guaranteed entrances, parking or accessibility. No firsthand shop recommendations are implied.
Practical questions for this trip
Can I thrift at The Wardrobe on Tuesday?
Tuesday is referral-only assistance shopping. Public shopping is Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at the recorded hours, subject to changes.
Are the vintage pair’s hours confirmed?
No. Maude has conflicting owner schedules and Deco opens by chance or call according to its business-district profile. Confirm both before a special trip.
Are all the clothing stops consignment shops?
No. Divine Consign is consignment; Upscale Resale, The Wardrobe and the other nonprofit thrift shops use different models. Confirm intake, payout and return terms for the specific store.
